We created Paper to let you get your ideas down quickly, but did you know that it's a powerful presentation tool as well? Say goodbye to tedious presentation-making software. Here are three simple ways to showcase your ideas made with Paper.
I. Connect Paper to a projector with QuickTime:
Using a USB cable, connect your iPhone or iPad to a computer.
On the computer, open QuickTime.
Select "File," then "New Movie Recording."
In the video window, click on the dropdown arrow next to the red Record button. Select your iPhone or iPad.
Share your screen in a meeting or connect your computer to a projector. (Alternatively, you can record your presentation, which creates a video file.)
Open Paper on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap on an idea to bring it to the foreground, then swipe right or left to navigate through individual ideas.
Additional ways to connect Paper to a projector:
- Lightning to HDMI adapter
- AirPlay and Apple TV
II. Share your ideas to Keynote & PowerPoint:
Export your ideas in Paper to PowerPoint or Keynote with just two taps. In Paper, navigate to the grid view (where you can see all of your ideas displayed like a wall of sticky notes) and tap the Share arrow. Then, tap on "Share as Presentation..."
III. Create a PDF:
Export all your ideas in one Space as a PDF for easy presenting or emailing. You can find this option by navigating to the grid view (where you can see all of your ideas displayed like a wall of sticky notes) and tap the Share arrow. Then, tap on "Share as PDF..."
